Be healthy, happy & holy. Be beautiful, bountiful & blissful. Be conscious & connected.
about

Cristin Tighe weaves varied elements into her teaching, offering challenging, life-changing transformation. Students experience self-compassion, awareness, gratitude, positivity and possibility. Bringing in sense of humor and light, she facilitates a practice to embody devotion and opens a way to shuniya (connecting to a quiet, peaceful, intuitive place in your heart).

Her yoga journey began in 1999, as owner of Spiral Flight Yoga in Washington, DC for five years. Afterward, she lived and taught for two years in Belgium, then three years in Ghana offering training with Krishna Kaur. Since 2012, she has lived in Palm Beach FL, except one year was in Haiti, and before the pandemic offered teacher training regularly in Europe and the US.

She is certified in Conscious Pregnancy© Yoga as well as Relax & Renew (Restorative Yoga), Therapeutic Yoga (Anusara School of Hatha) and did a Baptiste-inspired power vinyasa training. She is a Kundalini Research Institute Trainer and also trained over 600 children's yoga teachers (see Kids & Yoga!) in eight countries. She has Yoga Alliance highest status (E-RYT-500/RCYT/RPYT/YACEP).

She holds deep gratitude for her teachers — Amarjit Kaur, Yogi Bhajan, Eliana Baccas, Darshan Kaur, Shakta Kaur, Judith Lasater, John Friend, Tarn Taran Kaur, Cathy Daub, her children, Pritpal Kaur, Krishna Kaur, Christen Scott, Ma Jaya Sati Bhagavati, Kiret Nam Kaur, Kartar Singh, Sierra Hollister and Guru Simran. She's also a doula/childbirth educator with Masters from Yale University and Johns Hopkins University in environmental health and international development, so brings a unique perspective to teaching.

Her personal prayer: "May the teachings of yoga flow to me. May they be with me. May they flow through me."
