Radiant Child Yoga Program is a certification course for parents, certified and aspiring yoga teachers, schoolteachers, Montessori teachers, day care workers, babysitters, nannies, therapists, and anyone wanting to GIVE CHILDREN THE GIFT OF YOGA.

The vision is to share the benefits of yoga with children all around the world! This insightful 30-hour program is designed for all yoga levels/traditions and for all levels of experience with children. Certificate of completion given after at-home practicum phase, and your own teacher listing on www.childrensyoga.com­ and www.kidsandyoga.com.­ Course recognized for CECs with public schools, therapy organizations, and Yoga Alliance. Course is 50% lecture/interactive activities, 50% practice and serious fun!

The Radiant Child is the child who is self-aware, who honors the spirit of all, and is naturally dedicated to creating a world of peace. Yoga is a holistic, practical tool toward that end. RCY was founded by Shakta Khalsa, E-RYT 500, AMS Montessori educator, and published author, an internationally recognized teacher of yoga for both adults and children, having taught extensively at conferences and gatherings for over four decades. As one of the leading founders of the children’s yoga movement, Shakta developed the Radiant Child® Yoga training program in 1999. Since that time, she has trained a select few RCY Facilitators, who, along with Shakta, have taught thousands of yoga teachers, school teachers, therapists, parents and grandparents in the art of children’s yoga. This training was inspired by the philosophy of Kundalini Yoga, as taught by Yogi Bhajan. It has been taught worldwide since 2000, and thousands of teachers are certified. It's one of the first children's yoga training programs, and Cristin is one of the main trainers, having offered over 45 trainings in 7 countries since 2005.
